My Dad’s Voice

My dad had that voice. When you heard it, it would put fear in you from far away. It just boomed. It was one of those voices that when he spoke, there was no doubt who was behind the voice. He did some radio work including doing play by play for basketball games. Once, he was ejected from one of my high school basketball games because the ref was tired of hearing that voice!

My voice, on the other hand, is no where near the level of my dad’s. In fact, most people ask me to speak up. But, when I heard my first podcast I immediately had a desire to use my voice and be part of one. I called my friend Jonathan and here we are.

After deciding to jump into it with both feet, the question became, “What do we podcast about?” We know we want to have some fun, but we also want to make a difference. This life is hard. We just want to try and figure out how to live this life with something bigger in mind. So stay tuned. Listen to the podcast, join in with us. But for now, it’s time to Land The Plane…….

I had to say goodbye to my dad 18 years ago. Maybe it’s been a long time since you had to say goodbye to someone you love: But it’s never too late to be inspired by them. I hope I make you proud Dad.

  1. I wanted to officially ‘like’ this, but that required setting up an account. Oh well.
Brought some chuckles and some tears. đź‘Ťđź‘Ť
