It’s Episode 50! Thank you so much to all of our listeners! (And thanks to Corey for the update to our Land the Plane Intro tune!) It is such a joy of ours to be on this journey with you. We never imagined that we would make it this far, but here we are. A lot of times when you hit a major milestone like this, you want to do just a typical recap show. Well, not us! So instead, we have decided to share with you some of the things we have learned along the way!
Everything about our flesh fights against the direction of the Spirit. Do you have the strength to do what is right and commanded?
It seems like everything is out of control. Pandemics, violence and Presidential Debates make it seem like there is not much hope. Join Dustin and Jonathan as they are reminded of the truths found in Psalm 124.
There are many big challenges in the world and in our lives today. Does JESUS really have time for the “little things” in our lives?
We are back! It has been a long and busy road throughout this pandemic. Covid 19 has changed all of our lives and everyone has had to adapt and change.
The headlines are scary. The reality is overwhelming. We are in the midst of a pandemic. Schools are closed, people are losing their jobs and hope seems dim. But there is hope. That hope is found in Jesus Christ.
But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about.” And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly. Luke 22: 60-62
What did Peter just do? How could he deny Jesus after all they had been through? This was the lowest moment of his life. He had failed miserably. Peter didn’t have faith that Jesus would take care of him. He was only thinking about himself.
“If I don’t get help, I’m not sure if I’m going to make it.” This statement was the beginning of a life-giving transformation in the life of our guest, Blake Hudspeth. We get to sit down and talk with Blake about the journey he’s been on for the past several years in discovering real freedom, which he describes as “the ability to live the way GOD has designed you to live.”
