We are back! It has been a long and busy road throughout this pandemic. Covid 19 has changed all of our lives and everyone has had to adapt and change.
The headlines are scary. The reality is overwhelming. We are in the midst of a pandemic. Schools are closed, people are losing their jobs and hope seems dim. But there is hope. That hope is found in Jesus Christ.
“If I don’t get help, I’m not sure if I’m going to make it.” This statement was the beginning of a life-giving transformation in the life of our guest, Blake Hudspeth. We get to sit down and talk with Blake about the journey he’s been on for the past several years in discovering real freedom, which he describes as “the ability to live the way GOD has designed you to live.”
Some people are just so good at what they do! Michael Jordan was the best basketball player, Morgan Freeman has the best voice ever and Star Wars is the greatest movie franchise of all time! Ok, some of you may not agree with us on the above list, but there is always someone or something that is the best at what they do. If you are a church goer you know there is always that one person who seems like they can pray better than anyone. The question is though, why do we force ourselves to try and be them?

If you live in the United States you probably remember where you were on 9/11. It was a shocking and terrible day. A day of major loss and fear. A day that we will always remember and a day we will set aside to remember all those that lost their lives.
It’s summer time. Everyone has so much going on. Vacation, trips, camp, work and hopefully even a lot of fun. So for June and July we are bringing you some abbreviated shows to help encourage you and give you a chance to take Jesus on the road with you this summer!
Work. School. Parenting. Marriage. Sports. Band. Church. Homework. Housework. Be here. Be there. Do this. Do that. And on and on and on. Seems to never stop. And now it’s the holidays and even more is going to be demanded of me! How do I keep focused? How do I not stress? How do I keep God first?
